Canada hosts national cricket teams from Bermuda and the West Indies when the Scotiabank Series gets under way Monday at the Maple Leaf Cricket Grounds in King Township.

The one-day international tri-series includes a round-robin series starting Monday when Canada faces Bermuda.

Matches are also scheduled for Wednesday and Friday.

Admission to round-robin matches is free.

Tickets are $10 and available at the gate for Sunday’s final.

All matches start at 11 a.m.

Senior Hawks delayed in bid for GTBL series sweep

The Newmarket Hawks will be seeking to complete a sweep of a Greater Toronto Baseball League best-of-three quarter-final playoff series against the Martingrove White Sox Tuesday night.

Newmarket holds a 1-0 series lead after capturing a 6-2 victory in the opening game last Tuesday in Newmarket.

Rain postponed Game 2 Thursday night at Martingrove.

If necessary, a third game is scheduled for Thursday night at Martingrove.

All games start at 7:30 p.m.
