Richmond Hill Ringette girls had a tough week with only one win recently.
During the Novice C match-ups, Richmond Hill lost the first game against Newmarket. The score was Newmarket 7 - Richmond Hill 2. The two goals scored were by Amanda Cuthbert and Hannah Lee, with an assist from Megan Malapitan.
Richmond Hill’s efforts during the second game paid off and they managed to win the game against Cambridge 5-3. The scorers for this game were Gabriella Fiorino who scored two, Leah Balkovec who scored two and Aine Palmer who scored one. Assists came from Kara Cseh, Nicole Cheung, Sara DeBarp and Gabriella Fiorino.
During the Petite A match-ups, Richmond Hill lost a game against Etobicoke 6-3. The three Richmond Hill scorers were Taylor Thalheimer, Jacqueline Badgery, Alessia Roman with an assist from Kaliegh McGrath.
Richmond Hill lost the second in the double-header against Etobicoke 7 - 2. The two scorers of this game were Alessia Roman and Taylor Thalheimer. Assists also came from Alessia Roman and Taylor Thalheimer.
During the Petite B action, Richmond Hill couldn’t get a break as they lost to Markham 8 - 2. The goals were scored by Hannah Lemay and Lehna Shukster.
Another game against Markham resulted in a tighter contest but RIchmond Hill didn’t have enough to pull through. The final score was Markham 3 - Richmond Hill 1. The only goal of the game was scored by Talia Brock.
