If you see an aggressive driver in Vaughan, now you can do something about it.

Vaughan has partnered with the York Region Road Watch program on a community initiative, launching the city watch program.

An idea stemming from a number of fatal collisions in the Caledon area, the program gives residents a chance to keep roads safe by reporting unsafe, dangerous and aggressive driving to York Regional Police.

Now, Vaughan city staff are getting in on the action, by participating in the program.

“There will be 200 concerned city of Vaughan employees armed with Road Watch forms out each and every day, ready to do their part, not as a means to generate income, but as a means to enhance the education and awareness of those found driving unsafely,” Councillor Bernie Di Vona, chairperson of Vaughan’s safe city committee.

To report unsafe driving, residents can go to the Major Projects section at www.vaughan.ca to obtain a road watch form.
