A woman is in hospital after a collision on Hwy. 400 in Vaughan during this morning’s rush.

At about 7:30 a.m., Ontario Provincial Police, paramedics and firefighters responded to a stretch of the highway just north of Major Mackenzie Drive after a car and pickup collided, OPP Const. Julia McCuaig said.

Two lanes of the highway were briefly blocked, reopening by 8:15 a.m.

The woman, who is believed to have been driving the car, was taken to hospital as a precaution.
