A final public meeting, including a live Internet webcast, gives you one last chance to have your say on the Yonge Street subway extension.
Representatives from York Region, Viva and the TTC will be on hand at the Premiere Ballroom Wednesday night to discuss details of the subway plans.
Also up for discussion during the open house are Viva’s plans to construct bus rapidways — dedicated transit lanes —along Hwy. 7.
The first phase of the lanes is set to stretch from Richmond Hill Centre to Kennedy Road.
A similar subway meeting takes place in Toronto Dec. 3.
That meeting is at the Mitchell Field Community Centre, in the Yonge Street-Finch Avenue area.
Both meetings include an open house from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a presentation until 9 p.m.
